Hope Loves Company Welcomes New Program Manager

Linda Sermons joins Hope Loves Company after working with Girls Inc. and the American Cancer Society

November 23, 2022 – Hope Loves Company (HLC) is excited to introduce its newest member. Linda Sermons joined HLC as Program Manager last week on November 14, 2022. Sermons has worked with national nonprofits such as Girls Inc. and the American Cancer Society, as well as local organizations, like Project Morry and Dream Factory Brooklyn. She has over 15 years of experience in the field and brings her extensive knowledge in community service, volunteer management, and leadership to Hope Loves Company.

Sermons is a mission delivery professional, specializing in program development, delivery, and evaluation. She has a passion to serve others, and to be a part of a mission bigger than herself.

"I am excited to be a part of such a unique and important mission. Providing our youth with resources and the support they need is truly an amazing gift and opportunity,” said Sermons.

“We are fortunate to add someone with Linda’s blend of experience, leadership, and enthusiasm to Hope Loves Company. Her success with volunteer programs at organizations such as Make A Wish and American Cancer Society positions her to play a key role in expanding our reach and impact to the families we serve in the ALS community. Linda demonstrated her hands-on, can-do attitude immediately, jumping right in and making a difference at our largest camp, HLC California in her first week in the new role,” said HLC Board President Gary Bachrach.

“We're excited to have Linda's experience, compassion and motivation added to the Hope Loves Company Team as our new Program Manager! Linda has jumped in head first, ready to evaluate, improve and grow the programs, services and support that HLC provides,” said HLC Executive Director Shannon Sullivan.

HOPE LOVES COMPANY, Inc.(HLC) is celebrating its 10th anniversary as the only nonprofit and 501(c)(3) in the United States with the specific goal of providing both emotional and educational support to children and young adults who have or had a loved one battling ALS.
