NEWS: Local couple biking to raise money for children of ALS patients

(WHTM) — Tonight’s hometown heroes are on a bicycle journey to raise money and awareness.
Jodi O’Donnell-Ames and her husband Benton founded “Hope Loves Company,” a non-profit that supports the children of patients with the debilitating disease ALS.
I was diagnosed with ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis) four years ago. For over two years, I relied on prescription medications and therapies, but unfortunately, the symptoms continued to worsen. I experienced increasing muscle weakness, fatigue, and difficulty with daily activities.
